Über uns: bibaBi (bildbasierte Bildung)
ist eine unabhängige Gruppe von Film- und Kunstschaffenden aus Berlin, die sich unter der Flagge ihrer gemeinnützigen Mutterorganisation Zeegotoh e.V. zum Ziel gesetzt hat, jungen Menschen einen reflektierten Umgang mit unserer von Bildern geprägten Gesellschaft zu ermöglichen. Damit wollen wir Bildung ermöglichen, die am Geist unserer Zeit ansetzt und das Bild-Verständnis nicht dem Zufall, sondern einem tiefgreifenden Verstehen überlässt.

Unser Team
Elissa de Brito
schloss ihr Masterstudium Filmwissenschaft an der FU Berlin ab. Sie legt ihre Schwerpunkte unter anderem auf klassischen und zeitgenössischem Tanz, Musik- und Theaterbildung. In Brasilien hat Elissa bis 2014 als Regieassistentin und Filmproduzentin an drei Langfilmen gearbeitet. Seit ihrer Übersiedlung nach Berlin wirkt sie als selbständige Filmemacherin und leitet zudem seit 2015 Video- und Foto-Workshops. Sie ist Mitbegründerin des Film- und Kunstvereins Zeegotoh und arbeitete am Projekt Diversity Box, wo sie in Berliner Schulen Video-Workshops zum Thema sexuelle und geschlechtliche Vielfalt leitete.
Nina Fernandez
hat Filmwissenschaft studiert, über Ton im Umwelt-Dokumentarfilm geschrieben, und in der Filmproduktion gearbeitet. In diesem Rahmen hat sie während der Dreharbeiten des Spielfilms SUNBURNED von Carolina Hellsgard als Kinderbetreuerin gearbeitet. Außerdem hat sie als Schnitt-Assistentin für den Dokumentarfilm LE DIVAN DU MONDE von Swen de Pauw gewirkt. Zurzeit ist Nina Ko-organisatorin des Dokumentarfilmfestival KODEX - Kings of Doc Expanded und Vorsitzende des Vereins Zeegotoh. Seit 2017 arbeitet sie als Produktionsassistentin bei NiKo Film.
Simon Fluck
arbeitet als unabhängiger Regisseur, Kameramann, Editor und Motion Designer an verschiedenen Kurzfilm-Projekten und Tutorial-Videos. Er ist als Mitbegründer des Zeegotoh e.V. aktiv an zahlreichen kulturellen Events in Berlin beteiligt. 2019 schloss er sein M.A. Filmwissenschaft an der FU Berlin ab. Zudem war er als Redakteur beim Zurich Film Festival, dem Heimspiel Filmfest und der Internationalen Kurzfilmwoche in Regensburg beschäftigt.
KORRESPONDENZ: German-French Film Exchange Project
In a three-phase exchange program, 6 participants from Berlin and 6 participants from Strasbourg (France) will watch, discuss, and create films together!

THE PROGRAM
The first part of the project will take place in Berlin. The participants are invited to watch a selection of the documentary film festival KODEX. The French group will meet the German participants in Berlin, where the first introductory session and discussions after the screenings will take place. There will also be a short introduction to (documentary) film language and storytelling.
After the first meeting, the two groups will exchange video correspondences for 3 months until the next time they meet in person in Strasbourg, France. The aim is to give participants the opportunity to explore film language based on the technical and conceptual guidelines given to them by the leaders in a monthly session via video call. All participants are given the opportunity to introduce themselves. This step, which is intended to encourage individual artistic expression, is one of the necessary preconditions for the formation of a group whose goal is the production of a film.
The final phase of the project takes place in Strasbourg in a 5-day intensive workshop. Participants will bring their first developed ideas, from which they will produce a short film (up to 7 minutes), that can be a documentary, a feature film or a hybrid work. Afterwards, they will write their film idea under the guidance of the workshop leaders, deepen the concept, decide how they want to shoot it and realise it together.

Selection criteria: Participants must be between 18 and 25 years old.
CONTRIBUTION
All costs for transport and accommodation, as well as a daily meal, are covered by the support of the Franco-German Youth Office (DFJW/OFAJ).
Your contribution* (for additional expenses):
1st part: 50€ (Berlin)
2nd part: 100€ (Strasbourg)
*the contribution can be reduced by justification if necessary.
